OPTION 2: Explore energy issues in Canada
Students will examine energy-related issues in Canada, explore a new innovation in renewable energy production and offer a solution to an existing issue using this new innovation.
By the end of this activity, students:
- will better understand a variety of renewable and non-renewable energy sources
- will have developed a more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly product
- will be able to present their product in a persuasive manner
