Our school committed to a school wide fundraiser to raise awareness and money for the world wildlife fund. This was called the Polar Bear Walk. We got white hats for the entire school and they were sold for 4$. Our Eco-school club did the signs and collecting of the money/ its estimated that our walk raised over 400$. We also made signs to help others understand our cause. The students explored the issue of global warming and the importance of decreasing our energy use for the sake of the animals, like the polar bears and the survival of their habitats.
