Introduced the lesson with 2 awesome video on YouTube and the students were shocked with the facts on water distribution on earth and the amount of water required to grow or make certain items (ie 39000 gallons of water to make a car). We then discussed the activity and how we could conserve water in the home. Students monitored water use over the weekend ( Saturday and Sunday). The biggest problem was that many found that day 2 was laundry day and more water was used. The main message was not the difference between the two days but the importance of not being wasteful of water and understand how quickly it can be used when we don't consciously think about it
