OPTION 1: Share your experience with the Classroom Energy Diet Challenge through a local media source
Students will learn about energy issues in various media sources and will contact a local media outlet to see if it is interested in covering part of their Classroom Energy Diet Challenge experience.
OPTION 2: School newsletter
Students will create a class or school newsletter about the Classroom Energy Diet Challenge.
By the end of this activity, students:
- will be able to recognize different forms of media
- will understand how the media can present energy-related topics and how these representations affect public opinion
