Students looked at various types of places where people got news and information about environmental issues. They then took a survey of which outlets that students trusted to give timely and accurate information based on previous studied criteria for checking the reliability of sources (the CRAAP acronym). The students presented their results to share with the community during our Health and Wellness Expo. Key learnings were recognizing different forms of media and using a critical lens to recognize how the media can present energy-related topics and how these representations affect public opinion and have a bias
