An investment in Canada’s energy consumption reduction

The Harper government will invest $78 million over the next two years on mostly voluntary initiatives aimed at inspiring Canadians, both consumers and businesses, to reduce their energy consumption.


There are no tax incentives or direct financial grants for Canadians, but they will be provided with better information and labeling to help them choose more energy-efficient products.
