Energy Educator of the Year Award

We know that passionate, hard-working teachers participate in the Classroom Energy Diet Challenge. This year, Canadian Geographic Education (CG Education) and Shell Canada want to recognize these committed teachers with a new prize, the Energy Educator of the Year Award. This award acknowledges teachers who have enthusiastically participated the Challenge and are committed to ongoing promotion of energy literacy in their school and community.

This award may be presented to any educator that has participated in the Challenge and nominations can be made by any student, teacher, administrator or community member.

  1. A current C.V. of the nominated teacher
  2. Two reference letters in support of the nominated teacher

Four Energy Educator of the Year Awards will be presented this year, one for each region of Canada: Atlantic (Nfld., P.E.I, N.S., N.B.), Pacific (B.C., Alta., Sask.), Central (Man., Ont., Que.) and the Territories (Y.T., N.W.T., N.T.).
