Video Challenge

Completed

Description

As a class we researched different ways to save energy, then we choose a specific area that we were most interested in. We then learned how to do stop motion animation. Finally, we put this new knowledge together and created a video to share and spread awareness.

Water Works

Completed

Description

For this challenge we each used the water consumption trackers over a weekend, and then we learned about different types of water usage in our country on World Water Day- such as our everyday consumption, virtual water usage (ie how much water it takes to make a burger), and issues with water equity in our communities in Canada. We then each created a short powerpoint to share what we learned and discuss how we can improve our water consumption. I've included an example of one of the powerpoints as a PDF in the files section.
