How Big Are Your Carbon Feet?

Completed

Description

We did a Carbon footprint together for a fictional student in a developing country. We talked about their lifestyle vs ours. They were interested that they would have renewable energy if any. We then did our own and put it on the white board to discuss. We did a Venn diagram comparing the source of Carbon and orally discussed how to lower our footprint.

Description

I created a lesson that I attached. We went to one of the provided sites to fill in the blanks on some facts and we watched a video. We then had a class discussion on how they waste food and what are the impacts We created a Kahoot but my class of 8 LD/Autistic students were on hour 3.5 of a 4 hour class and were not that productive (nothing to do with the topic) So the Kahoot is pretty short, but the PIN is below 1489184
