We had a group discussion about the difference between strong want and actual essential uses for electricity (a PS4 feels essential, but it is actually a very strong want). As a group students suggested possible items and suggested workarounds for how to reduce usage. Students committed to one item for one day.

Students watched two videos Carbon Monster and What is a carbon footprint? What can you do about yours? and then on Google Slides they found pictures online that contributed to their own Carbon footprint and wrote one way that they could make their footprints smaller.
