Community Connections

Completed

Description

We completed both options. Firstly, we created our own community initiative. Students created a website (https://emilycreater.wixsite.com/my-site-2) where they published the Energy Saving Contract (everyone can read and sign it) and promoted saving energy games (like ROBLOX Trash Simulator and Kahoot games), videos, and projects. Secondly, we joined the #ECOSTRUM environmental initiative (https://strum.onuka.ua/en) created by a singer ONUKA (song "STRUM" on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mh-Tmh7NuDY&list=RD27J4HUj6Ko0&index=17 ). Students added her music to the video for video challenge and posted the song on their website. Every single view and share of ONUKA’s video means that the monetization royalties from watching it will be transferred to support the operation of new waste sorting facilities. Moreover, our school shared Grade 4`s initiative on their website and Facebook page.

Completed

Description

To promote saving energy our class created a website, a ROBLOX Trash Picking Simulator, and an Energy Saving contract. We tried to show everything we did in our video. Interesting Fact: In our video, we use the song "Strum", ONUKA. Every single view and share of ONUKA’s video means that the monetization royalties from watching it will be transferred to support the operation of new waste sorting facilities. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mh-Tmh7NuDY&list=RD27J4HUj6Ko0&index=12
