Description

Everyone had the choice between different flowers and vegetables. We're now watching the different germination and growth rates in our little class greenhouse, before everyone takes their plants home to enjoy! We also watched videos about pollinators, life cycles of a plant, and germination processes!

Students completed the carbon footprint survey, and then were given the option to either write a journal entry about how to reduce the size of their carbon footprint or to add an image showing ways to reduce the carbon footprint.

Every morning our class has been sharing energy conservation tips and tricks with the whole school on the announcements! Often starting with a joke to get everyone listening and paying attention! Ex: What is a wind turbine's favourite colour? Blew/Blue!
