The Volts

Description

Students are researching renewable energy sources in small groups in French and English. They will use their knowledge to create mini-books and to battle against each other in a energy source debate. They are realizing quickly that there are advantages and disadvantages to all energy sources.

Description

The Volts had a class discussion about the difference between needs and once. We then brainstormed all the items we use in our daily lives that require energy. From the list, we sorted them by needs/wants. Students then choose one item from their want list and committed to giving it up for a day. Many students completed the challenge over the weekend.
