The Phantom of the Classroom

They checked their estimates using a watt measuring tool. They circled items that were using phantom energy and comparted how much energy is wasted when the item is on vs when it is on standby.

We started by brainstorming different ways people use water. We looked into water issues that exist in our society and why water is a precious resource. We brainstormed some water conservation strategies. As a class we tracked our water usage for one day, talked about strategies to reduce this and tried them on day 2 in order to reduce our water usage in the classroom.
