Windows of Opportunity

Description

Students discussed and participated in various activities about things we want versus things we need. Students also came up with various ways we can save energy in our day to day lives; students decided that we should go a whole day without lights in order to save more energy.

Students created a garden, planted seeds and have been monitoring their progress. We talked about: Benefits of having a garden What we can grow and what we can eat from what we have grown What plants need in order to grow What can effect plants growth

Students talked about different ways that we can save energy and make positive impacts on the environment each day. Students then made posters to place around the school to share their tips and tricks about saving energy to the other students and teachers in the school.
