Our class watched our teacher complete an online carbon footprint calculation. We then took part in a more kid friendly activity to highlight some of the factors that affect the size of our foot prints. Then we brainstormed ways to decrease our foot prints.

We sourced out the ingredients for our school wide Easter lunch held at the school in April. Then we used mapping tools to figure out the distance from our school to these places. We mapped these places on a map of North America. We totaled up the distance .
